ADVE 2292 Design Lab 2: Project 4 Business Cards
For this last section of the Office of Tourism project, the final product is three folded business cards for three fictional members of the Office of Tourism, one of them being myself. The business cards only utilize black, white, and one other color, which will lend well to my design goals. I hope to maintain a simple and graphic approach to this project as with the previous three projects to keep a uniformity in design.
Moodboard and Sketches
I liked the simplicity of these business card designs and hope to utilize their simplicity in my own design. The last two images use a similar color to my own main color and a simple design between logo and text I want to utilize.
I plan to not use black, rather use the main orange in my chosen colors and the color of the paper in my design to keep color usage down.
Process
I started with the exterior design using the logo orange and paper white. For a pattern illustration I chose to tile the lotus flower I used in my logo design. I am choosing to use the same design for all three business cards.
I then added the required text for each individual person and their contact information.
I then added the logo, adjusted the spacing and made the business cards for the other two individuals, one of them being myself.
The exterior is the same for all three business cards, and the following three images are the card variations for each person.
